"Kráven" was born under the surface of Coruscant. No one knows why he was born there, it was said that his parents did not belong to the underlevels. They took care of him very carefully and trained him before he could walk, to talk and to understand things. However when he turned 10 they left him without explaining why, he did not understand but he had already learned out few things worked so he managed to grew up alone with a bunch of other kids from the area. He was born with the name Victor, everyone called him that and he quickly learned the rules of the underlevels. He and the others started to steal for the fun of it but later on they stole food or goods in order to survive.
Years went by, they became more recognized and with they lost friends fast to gangs and other underworld brutes. When he was 19, he was caught by a local gang after trying to steal some goods that would give him plenty of credits, but their leader gave him a brutal warning by pressing his thumb into Kráven's left eye. He told him that if he catches him again, he would lose his remaining eye and be thrown to the hounds.
After returning to his home among the streets he sold everything he had and tried to fix his face but could not afford it. A local cyber junkie who offered to help him, he put a cybernetic patch over his damaged eye and some extra few cybernetics to enhance his vision. He gave the man everything he had even his spot on the street which was worth nothing.
He did nothing for weeks, however not long after he started stealing again but was caught not long after, by a woman who saw him do it but she was not the owner but someone who wanted to use him for something. He said he didnt work for anyone but she convinced him to help her, she wanted something but didnt now say what in detail and he was tasked to steal it for her. And he did, without question and sneaked into the place. After a couple of minutes he returned with a box which matched the description she gave him, she was impressed and took him to her ship.
"A name won't mean much, use whichever one suits your interests kid." ~ Said by an Imperial Agent.
She was so happy she gave him a drink and sat down with him for a couple of minutes to get to know more about him. He did no have much to tell her but when she asked for his name he told her with the biggest smile, she smiled back but told him to never use his real name in the business she did, she told him she was an agent and she didnt remember her real name. She told him that she understood the value of names but she never had one of her own. She told him that he could become something more with the skills he had but he had to take that step himself, however he was more curious about what the box he took held.
She asked him to drink up while she took the box. When she returned, they both smiled at each other and she sat down with the box in her lap. She opened it and suddenly a small dart ejected from the box into her throat which caused her to drop to the floor. She was shaking and he had no idea what to do to help her, within seconds she was completely still on the floor without any sign of life. He looked at her but she did not look back, dead eyes starting at something who wasn't there and he took the box to see what was in it but could only see a small data cube which he had no idea what it was for.
He later on took the woman's ship, he never got her name so he called the ship for "The Lady" after her and he finally had a way to leave Coruscant. He took it, after learning how to fly the ship. Years passed after that, he drifted in space as he was learning some tricks and reading through everything that was on the ship. Learing secrets he had no idea what they meant and been slicing the ship droid. He had an awful idea and programmed the droid to kill him if someone was to hack into his cybernetics.
The Offer - New Beginning
After some time he entered imperial space, where he began to take small jobs here and there but he was later on contacted on his ship via the main terminal which all of a sudden got turned on. He was a holo image of a man, staring at him with his arms crossed and he had an offer for him. It was a friendly offer, he was told he could earn a lot and be part of something big. The man in the holo called himself the Overseer, which meant nothing to him until he later on met the man on an unknown planet. Where he was taken in and became a member of an Order who saw his skills worthy. They trained him even further within slicing and medicin - later on became one of their top assassins which they called Death Dealers.
He has become familiar with the Order and its ways, the people within the Order called themselves Reapers or Force Reapers. He got close to the people, especially the hunters which had more in common past with him than the other assassins. They showed him tricks and made him love Black ale.
He got close to one of the Lords, Deltus the Crime Lord. Who had ties to cartels and other underworld people. As one of their assassins he spent most of his time on Dromund Kaas where he picked up Imperial ladies and information for the Overseer. His work was easy at first, but when the killing started he had doubts but he was one of their many assassins and when he couldn't do the kill someone else did it. He understood he had to overcome his failures, he started to kill for the Order and it grew on him. Taking a life became just as easy as taking someone's belonging.
The Lords took notice and he was placed under Lord Kariya, who lived in Kaas City and she used him as much as she could to make her life easier. Kráven never liked her but he was loyal and did what was asked. Time went by and he served her well and got more known.
''Men like us...we never get to keep the things we love." ~ Said amongst the Death Dealers.
The losses and the gains.
He lost many friends under his service, his best friend Vodcy who was the head of the Order's hunters was killed by a mandalorian battlemaster who also was one of his friends but he were never fond of Mandalorians after hearing about how that guy killed his friend and didnt care about burying him mainly because Vodcy wasnt Mandalorian himself.
Kráven later on became head of the Death Dealers and started to train them for the Order, he took low lives from the streets who had skills that were needed and people no one knew about. Some were even ex-military who were "dead" on record, he shaped them into deadly and smart assassins.
Meanwhile he found a homeless girl which he took in and started to raise on his own among the assassins, her name was Naya and he saw her as his little sister. The assassins were his family, however Naya was not an assassin but she was with them and they all liked her. Kráven didn't let anyone do anything to her and he protected her at all cost. The others trained and gave her company when Kraven wasnt around. Later on Kráven fell in love with one of the other assassins, Akhara was her name and she was a slow learner but Kráven never gave up on her however she was stubborn to get out in the world which put her in risk as well as the Order. In the end he got word that she was dead and it teared him apart and caused him to start taking drugs to stay focused. So that he could keep training the Death Dealers.
Blinded by Love.
He settled on many worlds to train his assassins from Tatooine, where he met one of his best trackers and hunters. A native sniper called Shadow, meanwhile he trained with another girl and she was fond of Kráven. She somehow made him fall for her and he became so blind that she was more or less the only one he saw and cared for. Her name was Kris'ten and he gave her everything until the day she randomly abandoned him with a false promise of returning to him. She never did and once again he teared himself apart with grief. He began to be careless and under a early hunting trip through the dunes he lost his hand to a sand worm which almost casued him to bleed to death. But he managed to stop it and made himself a cybernetic hand so that he could keep on training and hunting.
Later on the Death Dealers were later re-located to Alderaan where he later on got the title Archon from one of the Council members of the Order. Archon, head of all the assassin guards of the Order. The Lords looked at him and trusted him to keep the Order safe and he did his best. He gained many ties within the Empire and brought dealings with the Sith and other people which made the Order grow. Kráven got to meet nobles and other fine people while he worked on Alderaan, as well as running into another Imperial agent at the time. A girl called Cisca and they started to meet every now and then when both had the time however he held back due to past events. He didnt want to get too close to anyone. But then the Order went through a interal conflict, the Lords were aiming at each other and people picked sides, the Archon did not pick a side but protected the Council and the ones who followed the head master of the Order, Lord Drimon.
"It does not matter who we are at this point.. We can be anyone and anywhere. In others' eyes, we may seem to be part of their lives. But when we look out at their lives from our own vantage point, we are not in it. What we see is just another pattern to either follow or end. As observers, we are the point of view that can decide where it will lead. We don't belong in their lives but it is our job to deliver an end. It's the way of the Death Dealers. We may be your closest friend, we may never meet. Truth and illusion are often disguised as each other, we like to play this game, both with friends and foes. Even if few were to know the truth, our words remain the same; Death is a release." ~ Said by Kráven.
Independent but not free.
The Death Dealers became more independent within the Order, more free to settle down and take outside work. Kráven moved around alot but had his base on Alderaan and he recruited people when he could, one day he found someone who caught his interest. As he recruited her he saw something in her but he did everything to hold it back yet again, her name was Raei. They trained with the others and one of Kráven's closest assassins took her under his wing. Kráven continued to train and recruit assassins for the Order but then again the Order had another conflict, the Overseer started to go mad, Kráven noticed it right away and did not support his ideas or plans. Some assassins did take the Overseer's side but he remained true to the Order and didnt want to break the rules however the Overseer took Naya from him. Kráven kept all his hatred and stayed true to the Order even tho he wanted to kill the Overseer.
Raei stayed with Kráven and they got worked close, but when her trainer as well as partner in life died Kráven was there and looked after her. He gave her reasons to keep going. They looked after each other, they planned and planned but they failed to stop the Overseer and in the end got told not to act against the Overseer. He had tried to force him to execute Naya on his flagship but refused and escaped with his life however he didnt get Naya out. The Overseer put a bounty on Kráven's head for not following him, he saw him as a traitor.
New life, new plan.
Kráven moved back to Tatooine, into the dunes where they once trained and lived before. One day Raei's partner showed up and it turned out that he had faked his death but Raei couldnt take it and killed him. Kráven was there and stood up for her, he tried to make alright and said things were fine. He lied for her to keep everyone safe. But his feelings for her were put aside when she was grieving over her dead partner yet again. But in that time one of his other assassins got close to her but he didnt see it as a problem at first. Time went by and Kráven wanted something more for his assassins in terms of income. He talked to some local friends about starting something on the side, but after a merc tried to take his life on Tatooine he saw that Tatooine wasnt enough and looked elsewhere. Nar Shaddaa came to mind and he went there.
Similar to his homeworld, he knew how things were working and got to know the right people. He never told the people what he did, just as he wanted it and made a place for himself. He got close with a fellow Reaper Lord named Sapphira and they both started to set up a business on the moon. Gambling was his new thing, the other assassins werent so keen on his ideas and he was too focused on it that even the Lords started to wonder about him.
Raei didnt understand either but Kráven was on torn between handling his business and the assassins. He later noticed how Raei and his assassin friend Jare had got close while he focused on his business. He tried not to care too much but at heart it was hurting him, later on he found out that Jare, who was a mandalorian had beaten Raei for insulting his clan and revealed the truth about her killing her old partner. Kráven was blinded by his love for Raei and only saw black and white. He couldnt let it lie and wanted Jare dead but as strict as he was, he couldnt break his code and just gave up on him. And for some reason Raei left at the same time so he got mad for believing she was his at heart.
He mainly focused on his business and didnt care for the assassins for the time being. He drank and planned his gambling events. The Lords had not heard from him in a long time so they contacted the other Death Dealers. They made his friend Shadow the second Archon, who had his cabal on Tatooine while Kráven was running his cabal on Nar Shaddaa.
"Each individual member will pledge lifelong loyalty to the Cabal.." ~ Said by Kráven.
Kráven started to make ties on Nar Shaddaa and slowly climb up in the underworld, he wants more and tries to gather a new group of Death Dealers after have lost his old group and family. Due to his lack of trust in people he often works on his own rather than letting others know what he is up to. His strongest tie on Nar Shaddaa is Lady Aszinhrud who have helped him with his business.
He also have two Reaper Lords on his side that are laying low within the underworld of Nar Shaddaa. Kráven gathers intel while he is walking around on Nar Shaddaa, listening in on everything and takes notes of certain people. His cabal focus on information gathering and Kráven will use his assassins to keep the information, any information safe.
In order to cover his cabal he is making a Nightclub out of his business. It will not only serve him as a cover but as a home to his family of assassins. Palace of Naya, named after the little sister he raised from the streets and thought to be lost.
New Family, New Lie
In the midst of his work on Nar Shaddaa, Kráven had fallen in love with a local mercenary named Dawn which his family of assassins are uneasy about since she was not part of the Order. Kráven didn't care, he loved her and wanted to remain by her side. She was also with child which made the situation more fragile and hazardous for both. As they were together they looked out for each other and were as happy as they could.
After many lovely moments and lovely plans, things started to go down.. Kráven got suspicious and frightened of losing her which was later on proved to be the case. One of his guys overheard her one day and reported to him, he refused to believe it but there was a recording of it. So he knew before she delivered the news to him. He knew she had another at that time but she did not say, she told another story and Kráven let her go as it was.. Another lie.
His family of assassins were the true family afterall. With Naya back from her long time with the Overseer, Kráven finally got something that he knows is and will forever be family.
Expanding the Cabal
Kráven's buisness and cabal has grown on Nar Shaddaa. He knew the moon was heading for a major change and quickly tried to make ties with minor groups and make them follow him and his cabal. Investors from around the galaxy tried to get in on his buisness and as his cabal grows on Nar Shaddaa his Lords from the other side of the galaxy takes note of his doings.
His buisness, his club and his underworld arms trade has gone beyond Nar Shaddaa's own market. With his family now bound by blood with his new found daughter Ellinora he is more strict on who he is dealing with than before. His close partner and new brother in crime Munez overseeing his trade as a local black market dealer. His current partner in life Thei is keeping him on track and he gives her everything.
As the Cabal and the family grew, people took noticed of his business and few knew there was more to it than just a Nightclub. The Cartel among others took highly notice of this and one of the Hutts tried to offer its "friendship" but Kráven kept independence as best as he could but there was a woman who tried to do the same however when Kráven found out about her ties to his rivals he refused every offer from that woman. She couldn't take a simple no and things started to become more personal than just business when the woman kidnapped his head of security and later on his daughter.
Not long after, it all came around and got revealed that his rivals tried to demand their share of his business but Kráven wasnt having any of that thanks to his vendetta towards the Auten family. With a son on the way with his girl Theije he does everything to keep the family safe. If that means getting close to the Cartel he might have to take their aid. Meanwhile he took up his role as Archon to train his assassins more.
“I don’t necessarily want people dead. I don’t put a blaster to anybody’s head and make them shoot but shooting is better for business. It’s just something about enjoying a glass of the finest wine while watching a random world destroying itself with the help of weapons I sold them. But truth be told, I prefer people to fire my weapons and miss. Just as long as they are firing at something or someone there will be a need for more.” ~ Said by Kráven.
After harsh events on Nar Shaddaa, Kráven was forced to go dark and the only place he knew would serve that purpose best was the planet Rishi. The planet he sent his old friend now "minion" to seek out the truth behind a blockade however it had little meaning after he left Nar Shaddaa. His plans were to stay under the radar on that planet while he had people on Nar Shaddaa relocating his sky palace building to a diffirent sector and renaming his business.
During his time on Rishi he started to use his old nickname "Crow" which an old friend of his used to call him and started to connect some ties with the locals. He found some pirate crews who he easily convinced to join his group and later on his Cabal. On Rishi he only gathered information and laid low most of the time until it was time to return to Nar Shaddaa.
The Yara Cabal
When the time came, Kráven returned to Nar Shaddaa, hidden behind a mask and a new alias. With his new ties on Rishi and the place on Nar Shaddaa remade into something new he started to sell arms again. Small trade at start but opened up trades with smaller buyers from both sides. Trading and buying the weapons his pirate friends on Rishi had looted on their jobs to sell to others. An easy task at first but now Kráven tries to secure his Cabal with new people within the family of assassins.
For now Kráven remainds hidden to prolong the rumour of him being dead and tries to spread the word of the Crow until the time comes for him to reveal himself to the public, friends or foes. Meanwhile his girl Thei stayed safe on Coruscant with their unborn son.
Birth of Orion
When their son Orion was born, things took to another level and Kráven became more protective towards his family and business. But not long after his son's birth he was forced to return to Nar Shaddaa to take care of the arms trade. The people he put in charge were not nearly as ready as he had hoped and as weapons were delivered from all corners of the galaxy he sought out new clients to trade arms to but he kept his unwritten rule not to pick sides in his business even if it would mean trade arms to the enemies of the Hutts. Now he tries to expand the family on Nar Shaddaa, within the Corellian sector and try look for other places to set up shop.
With their son moved to Nar Shaddaa thanks to Thei, the situation became way more serious in Kráven's eyes and the more expansive trust became, the more alert they had to be around anyone outside the Cabal and Kráven took few risks with new people. But Kráven quickly managed to get his roots deep into the Corellian sector on Nar Shaddaa where the Cabal's current prime establishment hovers over, the Red Diamond a big nightclub hovering over the sector and housing many of the family members.
Not long after did all the Lords start to vanish, Kráven cared little but one of his former masters tried to end him but failed to finish the job and only left him wounded. This caused his partner Thei to seek out this Lord and sliced her throat while Kráven was recovering. Without Lords to answer to Kráven was finally free from his pledge to serve and was free to go after his personal goals in the underworld, which he did as soon as he recovered from his wounds.
“Every man on this moon has followed someone who uses violence to achieve an end. To terrorize to advertise. When the men see that, they can spot the lie. They know that their leader is, in some part of his soul, sickened by his own actions and the lie infects everyone who sees it. But with me, when my brothers and sisters see me slaughter a bunch of low lives for stealing, when they see me cut off someone’s finger for failing the family, when they see me making someone we called sister being executed by one of our brothers for putting the family in danger, they know, they can see it in my eye…there’s no lie there. There’s no seed of remorse there. I simply don’t have it in me anymore.” ~ Said by Kráven after a mass murder.
Full Metal Heart
Kráven had several establishments for the Cabal, some very small while some bigger and in plain sight. Some were runned by locals who either wanted to become one of his family members or were on Kráven's payroll. Some were even family members who replaced the former owners by either assassination or extortion. Kráven had little care for the people outside the family but he rarely showed any disliking towards them, he simply observed people at local cantinas when he had the time and tried to find out who was doing what on Nar Shaddaa.
He even managed to make a big profit from a Hutt called Nodan the Benevolent who he sold a big shipment of guns to but later on assassinated by blowing up the entire establishment the Hutt was running. Kráven only managed to go through with it by gaining the support from another Hutt, Ziera the Collector.
Not long after did he receive intel about the missing flagship which was said to be hidden away by one of the Lords. Kráven's main goal now was to get that ship back and use it for the Cabal however it was docked in Imperial space near Dromund Kaas. How and why it got there was not on his mind, he wants to siege that ship no matter what and he is willing to gamble with every hired pirate, smuggler and merc he has at his disposal by promise them a share of the goods on the ship. Now he doesn't care if they die trying as long as they get him that ship.
"You're the greatest thing I ever stole." ~ Said by Kráven when he proposed to Thejie.
Making a Mark
While waiting for an opening to siege the old flagship, Kráven continued his affairs as normal on Nar Shaddaa and tried to find more assets for the Cabal. During one of nights out with his partner Theije, he finally popped the question to her about marring him which even shocked himself but there was no way she would say no. With them engaged, things became more serious on his part and he wanted to decide where their wedding was going to be held. He didn't want anything major since he hated weddings, during his time as one of this former Lord's assassins he went to several Imperial weddings and since then have never wanted one for himself until now.
Not long after did the flagship he was tracking on the move, he was quick to order all his hired assets to siege the ship for him and among them were one pirate named Hechar who he had told about his plans for the ship. After the success of obtaining the ship, Kráven was pleased but the ship was powerless after making a jump back into Hutt space. The pirate Hechar who managed to siege the ship was appointed the new Captain over the Cabal's flagship.
Now Kráven has to inform his friends within the Cartel about the ship and that he is one behind it to avoid any conflicts. While the ship stands still, the Captain was quick to make some minor changes on the ship to suit his needs and desires. Kráven had big plans for the flagship to extend his arms trade away from Nar Shaddaa and use the ship as a platform for business relations as well as a second home for the Cabal.
"Every man has his torments. Dark emotions, demons if you wish to call them that, born of past wrongs that hound and harass him. You perceive the effects of Kráven's demons; echoes of their voices. But I know some of their names by listening to his fragile mind. I know the things they whisper to him at night. So you can believe me when I tell you that within his chorus of torments, none of them look or sound like me." ~ Said by Slaanesh.
Nightmares In Paradise
Not long after the proposal did Kráven start to doubt himself and everyone around him. He became quiet and withdrew from the family to focus on his own doings without anyone around him, he seemed calm and fine for some while others clearly noticed something was wrong. Slaanesh, one of the lost Lords had visited Kráven few times, filling him with doubt and set spark to his already big fear of losing his family. With very few nights of any sleep Kráven had become rather careless and reckless around others other than his son who he spent more and more time with at the time. Finding some kind of comfort around his only son Orion.
A while later, his partner vanished and he had his men out to find what had happened. Unknowing if this was caused by rivals in the underworld or something else. His warning about losing everyone started to make sense but he did what he could to keep his people safe. Especially his son who he was quick to remove from the nanny.
Away From Solid Ground
With the disappearance of his fiancee, Kráven put all efforts on finding her but after weeks without any clues things seemed hopeless. By putting everything into that, they left the sector unchecked and by that a group of spice dealers showed up in the sector. They sat up shop and started to distribute spice onto the streets which Kráven didnt like so he sent his assassins to deal with them without thinking it through. After that he stopped the searched after his fiancee thinking it was a waste of resources even tho he missed her immensely.
Later on it was revealed that the spice dealers he had sent people to kill were associates of Ziera the Hutt and he quickly got a visit from his enforcers but lucky enough. The enforcer who arrive on the scene first had his sister freed from slavery thanks to the Yara family so he let Kráven and his people leave with a headstart. After they fled the Red Diamond fell into the hands of the Hutt Cartel and the Yara family fled Nar Shaddaa back to their flagship where they settled in.
On their flagship, called the Empress, they settled into one of the suites on the ship and set out to find new people. More manpower for the crew and Kráven began to train Death Dealers once again to reclaim what was lost on Nar Shaddaa and to keep his son as safe as possible with the family.
While making a life for himself onboard the Empress, Kráven became more withdrawn as he had many things on his shoulders and the training was going slow. His fiancee had returned alive and turned out she had ended up doing someone's dirty work to keep Kráven and their son Orion safe. Kráven had his troubles with the Cartel as he couldnt enter Hutt space but things seemed to be calm as long as he did not enter their space. This did not change his plans on reclaming what was his on Nar Shaddaa as he tried to connect with old friends on the moon.
Kráven and his sister Sapphira obtained a location of a temple which lied on the other side of the galaxy, deep inside the jungles of Yavin 4 and the temple was constructed by his old master Kariya. However the temples seemed to be abandoned but Kráven did not want to move the entire Empress to that system due to it being in Imperial space. So he sent a small group of people to explore it in hope to one day use it for their own purposes.
Life in Concealment
After a rather long mission on Yavin, the team that were sent gave the clear and Kráven wasted no time to arrive to the scene. He was determined to put the old temple to use, however the team on the ground had encountered the spirit of Kráven's old master in one of the ruined buildings and was given premission to settle down there with the promise that they would seal her chamber from any outsiders. Kráven were more than pleased to do so and quickly sent supplies and tools to set up a new home on the moon. The temple was built to conceal the old masters which now would serve the Yara family greatly. Not long after they were done with the new set up, the Empress returned to the outer rim to continue it's black markets and housing spacers.
Months after living somewhat off the grid on Yavin, Kráven had spent more time with his family and focused on teaching his son things but he always had his plans for Nar Shaddaa in the back of his head. Just a week before they arrived on Yavin, Kráven had a brief meeting with the head of the Red Roses who had come by the Empress to speak with him about the state of Nar Shaddaa. With him were an old friend of Kráven, the local "celebrity" Ezrab who seemed to be working with or for the Roses. Together they spoke about regaining Kráven's foothold in the corellian sector with their help. But it was a big challenge to remove the Hutt who had claimed Kráven's establishments in the sector so right after that meeting Kráven contacted his contact who were laying low on Nar Shaddaa. To be his eyes and ears as well as messenger to the Roses, he also managed to recruit another who he sent to Nar Shaddaa as eyes and ears however to keep the tie with Mr Z of the famous Velvet Pearl.
However during their time on Yavin, the contact with his sisters on Nar Shaddaa were cut and not long after he lost contact with several people across the galaxy. Kráven and his family laid low on Yavin in hope of any signs while the Empress had gone into unknown space to take the long way across the galaxy to avoid whatever was happening in the known galaxy. Kráven spent five years training his brothers and sisters on Yavin until the Empress finally reached the Yavin system. Only to discover what horrors had occurred onboard the ship during those five years in unknown space, that gave Kráven a new matter to take care of but with few new recruits from the surviving refugees he was ready to send some out to explore what had happened in the galaxy. He sent two, Desmond and a new guy called Gamble towards Nar Shaddaa in hope of finding the two sisters he had lost contact with and to see if his old friends were alive.
Looking Into The Abyss
While things on Nar Shaddaa moves forward someone safely, things onboard the Empress took a drastic turn when Kráven's wife yet again vanished. This time it was it for him, he went through a short yet large outrage by destroying everything about her and their family until there was only one thing left.. their son, Orion who got him out of his rampage and Kráven was quick to put all his focus on taking care of his son. He began to teach him how to be, how to act among certain people and to understand several languages. Kráven was patient with his son but avoided speaking of his mother as some anger was still lingering in the back of his head.
Shortly after, he moved up his plans to kill off "the Crow" as he had pulled some unwanted attention of the Zakuul Empire. With the Crow dead, he lost many old contracts and ties across the galaxy. With little allies and few options to turn to Kráven has become desperate with his business. Missing his old advisor who he presumes to be dead and long gone. While he was teaching his son things, his right hand Nasirii handled the buisness he had set in motion on Nar Shaddaa. The goal was unchanged and they aimed to retake their foothold in the Corellian sector.
